Data and Insight Manager (Marketing/Campaign/SQL) - Remote/London

£50 to £55k basic

 

My client, an award-winning leading Publishing House is looking for a Data & Insight Manager to join the Marketing team at this publishing house.  They are one of UK’s largest national and regional news publisher whose portfolio includes 3 specialist job sites, GAAPweb (accountancy and finance), TotallyLegal (legal) and SecsintheCity (PAs and business support), as well as Fish4jobs.

 

What you’ll be doing:

This is a key role within the marketing department, where you’ll be providing insight across the business, responsible for their digital and web analytics, as well as working closely with the Marketing Director to help drive their candidate acquisition and retention strategies and product development.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring robust reporting of all KPIs and use these to influence business decisions. You’ll focus on enhancements that impact company revenue and audience engagement across the job site portfolio including continued testing and customer research. You’ll also be managing and developing a Data & Insight Analyst.

You’ll be pro-active and driven to identify new ways of optimising their job sites and looking for a company where you can make a difference.

Analysing the performance of all channels and campaigns, and continuously looking to improve them

Budget management for aggregators (programmatic spend) and PPC (working with an external SEM consultant)

 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Technical implementation of new onsite tagging and technologies using Google Tag Manager
  • Monitor SEO performance using SEMrush and Google Search Console
  • Maintain a SQL database, and use it to provide in-depth analysis on client performance
  • Use Tableau to build data visualisations to help with analysis and create reports for other key stakeholders
  • Manage, develop and coach the Data & Insight Analyst

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years reporting experience in a fast-paced, digital business
  • Degree in a maths/science-based subject
  • Advanced user of Excel, and Google Analytics
  • Strong technical understanding of Google Tag Manager
  • Experience using A/B testing software
  • Ability to present data and research to senior management and use it to justify business decisions and drive strategy
  • Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
